The 2008 ISE Spring Meeting will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, from the 16th to the 19th March 2008. The theme of the meeting shall be Electrochemistry for a Healthy Planet, with the following sub-themes:
Environmental Analytical Electrochemistry - Monitoring the Planet and Environmental Electrochemical Engineering - Protecting the Planet. This Meeting will bring together internationally recognized world leaders within the field of electrochemistry. Typically the expected delegate number for spring meetings shall be between 150-250 delegates from within the continent where it is being held and outside. It is envisaged that for the 2008 Spring Meeting the delegate number shall be high due to the profile of the plenary and invited speakers, relevance of the conference theme and the venue itself.
